Welcome to the new and improved
SPEC Productions web site!
The new Millennium is upon
us and CLASSIC COMICS will become
even more so. Longevity has spread it's gnarled hand over
more and more Comic Strips: Orphan Annie,
Dick Tracy, Gasoline
Alley, Alley Oop, Katznjammer
Kids, Blondie, Peanuts,
Bringing Up Father, Prince
Valiant, Snuffy Smith,
Nancy and Tarzan.
(We recognize that nearly every continuing Comic Strip has
had a new artist or artists and story teller - some good &
some bad) - but the recognition of the name appeals to a chord
of familiarity we know and rely on.
Many of our favorites
now dwell in the Cartoon Retirement home - left to reside
without the support of their old syndicate - still brightly
colored by their surviving Sunday pages - revered by readers
and collectors - read with fond memory if not unfairly priced
- still difficult in the finding - and we do love them: Kerry
Drake, On Stage, The
Yellow Kid, Mutt & Jeff,
The Gumps, Lil' Abner,
Joe Palooka, Smilin'
Jack, Captain Easy,
Lil' Iodine, The Little
King, Buster Brown,
Felix the Cat, Min &
Bill, Toonerville Trolley,
and many many more.
SPEC
Productions loves the comics, the artists, and
the memories they continue to reflect in our minds.
This coming Century we will continue reprinting
Dick Tracy, Terry and
the Pirates, Kerry Drake,
Alley Oop, Secret Agent
X-9, Moon Mullins,
Buck Rogers (daily and Sunday editions) and
new/old faces and titles not seen in many years.
We hope you will
continue to support us - and encourage our efforts to bring
you all the comic adventures we can produce.
